SAINT ROBERT, Mo. (Nov. 1, 2008) — This year the City of St. Robert hosted Halloween in the Park at the St. Robert Community Center. The event was free to the public. The many sponsors and volunteers that supported this event offered an array of excitement. This would include the spider house, team challenges, the haunted house, haunted hayride, a dunk tank, costume contest, and a variety of games.

If the trick or treaters were brave enough to get past the nine foot tall tribal character at the front door, they were greeted inside with a bag of candy, and their choice of toy. The costume contest was a huge success. It was separated into different age groups and everyone enjoyed seeing all the kids dressed up.

They provided hotdogs, chips, and soda to everyone in attendance. The St. Robert Police Department was raising money for this year’s shop with a cop fundraiser by allowing the community to dunk officers in the dunk tank. Lowes Chevrolet was giving out popcorn, and the Missouri National Guard was present to assist with the kid’s games.
