| Officials with the Pulaski County Circuit Court have reported the following actions in recent cases: Donald Jason Carroll, 34, of St. Robert, pleaded innocent on May 19 to two class A misdemeanor charges of third-degree domestic assault accusing him of causing physical injury to a woman with whom he had a continuing relationship by grabbing her hair and striking her head with his fist on two separate occasions on May 15. Associate Circuit Judge Colin Long scheduled the case for a setting or disposition hearing on May 19, ordered him to personally appear, and set his bond at $25,000. Steven Charles Pranger, 53, of St. Robert, pleaded innocent on May 19 to a Class D felony charge of driving while his license was revoked accusing him of driving on Old Route 66 on May 18 while his license was revoked, having previously been convicted three times in 2004 in Pulaski County Circuit Court for driving while revoked. Judge Long scheduled a June 25 preliminary hearing and set his bond at $10,000. Joshua R. Wright, 29, of Richland, waived a May 20 preliminary hearing on a Class C felony charge of forgery accusing him of writing a citation on Sept. 8 so it appeared to have been made by another person. Judge Long bound the case over to circuit court for a June 3 preliminary hearing. Jonathan L. Bowen, 26, of Richland, pleaded innocent on May 21 to a Class C felony charge of second-degree domestic assault accusing him of attempting to cause physical injury on May 18 to a woman with whom he had a child together by choking and striking the woman repeatedly. Associate Circuit Judge Colin Long scheduled the case for advice of counsel on May 26, ordered him to personally appear, and set his bond at $50,000. Christopher Sandusky, 22, of Waynesville, appeared with the public defender for a May 21 preliminary hearing on three Class C felony charges of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a weapon and first-degree tampering and a Class D felony charge of resisting arrest accusing him of possessing heroin and knuckles, possessing a 2006 Dodge Stratus without the owner’s consent, and of fleeing a police officer attempting to arrest him for tampering, all on Oct. 9. Prosecutors presented evidence; the defendant presented no evidence. Judge Long found probable cause to believe Sandusky may be guilty of felonies and bound him over to circuit court for a June 5 arraignment. Angelo C. Coronado, 38, of Waynesville, appeared with the public defender and waived a May 21 preliminary hearing on a Class C felony charge of second-degree domestic assault accusing him of pushing a woman with whom he had a continuing relationship so hard on April 25 that she fell to the ground and injured her ankle to the point of swelling and possibly breaking the ankle. Judge Long bound the case over to circuit court for a June 3 preliminary hearing. Richard D. Sandusky, 42, of Waynesville, appeared with the public defender and waived a May 21 preliminary hearing on a Class D felony charge of driving while revoked accusing him of driving on the eastbound ramp of the exit 150 overpass on Interstate 44 on Marcy 20 while his license was revoked, having been previously convicted of driving while revoked three times in 2007 in Pulaski County Circuit Court. Judge Long bound the case over to circuit court for a June 3 preliminary hearing. Matthew Christopher Melching, 28, of Dixon, appeared with the public defender and waived a May 21 preliminary hearing on a Class D felony charge of criminal non-support accusing him of failure to provide adequate financial support for his daughter from January to November, 2007, with arrears in excess of $5,000. Judge Long bound the case over to circuit court for a June 3 preliminary hearing. Aaron P. Lynch, 19, of Richland, appeared with the public defender and waived a May 21 preliminary hearing on a Class D felony charge of knowingly burning accusing him of starting a fire in the Richland City Park on Sept. 24, 2006, that damaged playground equipment. Judge Long bound the case over to circuit court for a June 3 preliminary hearing. Lamond H. Tuggles, 30, of St. Robert, pleaded innocent on May 22 to a Class D felony charge of driving while his license was revoked accusing him of driving on Eastlawn Avenue in St. Robert on May 20, having previously been twice convicted in 2000 of driving while revoked and once convicted in 2008 of driving while suspended, all in St. Louis City Circuit Court. Associate Circuit Judge Greg Warren scheduled the case for a May 28 preliminary hearing and set his bond at $10,000 cash-only. James L. Thomas, 33, of St. Robert, pleaded innocent on May 26 to two Class C felony charges of second-degree assault of a law enforcement officer accusing him attempting to cause physical injury to two police officers on May 24 by throwing a colostomy bag containing feces and urine at them. Associate Circuit Judge Colin Long scheduled the case for advice of counsel on June 2, ordered him to personally appear, and set his bond at $25,000. Allen Harley Adkins II, 47, of Hartville, pleaded innocent on May 26 to a Class C felony charge of first-degree tampering accusing him of operating a 2002 Yamaha motorcycle on May 24 without the owner’s consent. Associate Circuit Judge Colin Long scheduled the case for advice of counsel on June 2 and set his bond at $15,000. Earnest L. Mentola, 26, of Waynesville, pleaded innocent on May 26 to a Class B felony charge of sale of a controlled substance accusing him of selling nine tablets containing oxycodone to an undercover state trooper on Dec. 20, 2005.
