Dixon woman totals car in early Saturday morning rollover wreck
DIXON, Mo. (June 13, 2009) — A Dixon woman totaled her car in an early Saturday morning rollover, suffering moderate injuries as a result.

State troopers reported that Ashley L. Bell, 25, had been northbound on Crest Road about three miles west of Dixon at 2:25 a.m. when she ran her 2001 Dodge Neon off the left side of the roadway, struck a utility pole and overturned.

Bell, who had not been wearing her seat belt, was transported by Dixon Ambulance District personnel to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla for treatment. Her vehicle was removed by Pro Tow of Dixon.

In an unrelated incident, Carolyn Kirk, 63, of Waynesville, was arrested by state troopers at 1:25 a.m. on two warrants, each with a $1,000 bond, one of them a February 2007 felony warrant from Phelps County for passing bad checks with a $1,000 bond and the other an October 2006 Pulaski County misdemeanor warrant for passing bad checks, as well as charges of failure to stop for a stop sign and not having a valid driver’s license. Kirk was transported by troopers to the Pulaski County Jail where she was eligible for bond.
