Pulaski County Circuit Court Report 5/14/2009
Officials with the Pulaski County Circuit Court have reported the following actions in recent cases: Luke A. Daniels, 26, of Waynesville, appeared with the public defender and waived a May 13 preliminary hearing on two Class B felony charges of sales of a controlled substance accusing him of selling cocaine to another person on April 9 and May 4, 2007. Associate Circuit Judge Greg Warren bound the case over to circuit court for a June 3 arraignment. Shawn Adam Gephart, 31, of Rolla, appeared with his attorney, Travis Holthouse, and waived a May 13 preliminary hearing on a Class C felony charge of second-degree assault of a law enforcement officer and a Class D felony charge of resisting a lawful stop accusing him of attempting to cause physical injury by backing his vehicle directly at a Waynesville policeman’s vehicle intending to cause an accident and fleeing arrest by driving his vehicle at 45 mph in a 15 mph zone, intentionally weaving on the roadway and backing up at a high rate of speed in an attempt to cause a collision with the Waynesville patrol car. Associate Circuit Judge Greg Warren bound the case over to circuit court for a June 3 arraignment. Click here to comment for local opinion
