Pulaski County Circuit Court Report 5/12/2009
Officials with the Pulaski County Circuit Court have reported the following actions in recent cases:

Aaron P. Lynch, 19, of Richland, pleaded innocent on May 12 to a Class D felony charge of knowingly burning accusing him of damaging Richland city playground equipment by starting a fire on Sept. 4, 2006. Associate Circuit Judge Colin Long set his bond at $5,000, scheduled a May 21 preliminary hearing, and ordered him to personally appear.

Burgess West, 27, of Dixon, pleaded innocent on May 12 to a Class A felony charge of assaulting a law enforcement officer accusing him of attempting to kill or cause serious physical injury to a Pulaski County sheriff’s deputy on May 10 by accelerating the vehicle he was driving, aiming it directly at the deputy, and forcing the deputy to jump out of the way to avoid being struck by the vehicle. Judge Long set his bond at $50,000, scheduled the case for advice of counsel on May 19, and ordered him to personally appear.
