Crocker man rolls vehicle Thursday
TURKEY RIDGE, Mo. (May 8, 2009) — A Crocker man wrecked his car and suffered serious injuries in a late Thursday night rollover wreck, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Troopers reported that Mark J. Harpstrite, 48, was driving a 2000 Dodge Durango northbound on Highway W near Rake Lane southeast of Richland at 11 p.m. when he ran off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, and his vehicle overturned.

Harpstrite was transported by Pulaski County Ambulance District personnel to St. John’s Hospital in Lebanon. According to state patrol reports, it wasn’t known whether he had been wearing his seat belt.

The Durango sustained extensive damage and was removed by Jack’s Towing.

In an unrelated incident, troopers in Camden County arrested Jack R. McKee, 30, of Dixon, at 9:49 p.m. Thursday on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding, failure to use his seat belt and failure to display registration. He was taken to the Camden County Jail where he was eligible for bond.
