Pulaski County Circuit Court Report 5/4/2009
Officials with the Pulaski County Circuit Court have reported the following actions in recent cases: James H. Jordan, 26, of St. Robert, pleaded innocent on May 1 to a Class B felony charge of first-degree assault, a Class C felony charge of second-degree burglary and an unclassified felony charge of armed criminal action accusing him of pulling a loaded .45-caliber handgun on another man and entering a St. Robert residence possessed by a woman, both on April 29. Associate Circuit Judge Colin Long set his bond at $100,000 cash-only, scheduled the case for advice of counsel on May 5, and ordered him to personally appear. Christopher William Zack, 30, of Dixon, pleaded innocent on May 4 to a Class D felony charge of criminal non-support accusing him of failing to provide financial support for his two children from April to May and in July of 2008 and from September 2008 to March 2009. Judge Long scheduled the case for advice of counsel on May 5. Brandy J. Franks, 28, of Dixon, pleaded innocent on May 4 to a Class C felony charge of receiving stolen property accusing her of receiving a Mach 2 .17-caliber rifle with a weaver target scope worth at least $500 on Jan. 27 knowing or believing that it had been stolen.
