SR man airlifted after Friday rollover
ST. ROBERT, Mo. (April 24, 2009) — A single-vehicle rollover wreck in Phelps County seriously injured a St. Robert man, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Troopers said Billy J. Chase-Alone, 25, wasn’t wearing his seat belt when he was ejected from his 1995 Chevrolet Silverado pickup about 3 p.m. Friday on Route P about two-thirds of a mile west of Route T.

According to the state patrol report, Chase-Alone had been eastbound on Route P when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and overturned, causing him to be ejected from the pickup. He was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia for emergency medical treatment; his pickup was totaled and removed by Ron Dishman Towing of Rolla.
