Pulaski County Circuit Court Report 4/9/2009
Officials with the Pulaski County Circuit Court have reported the following actions in recent cases:

Brandon Powers, 29, of Holt Summit, pleaded innocent on April 9 to a Class D felony charge of criminal non-support accusing him of failing to pay support for his child during six individual months including November 2007, from January to June 2008, and from August to October 2008. Associate Circuit Judge Colin Long scheduled the case for an April 23 preliminary hearing.

Kele L. Johnson,
32, of St. Robert, pleaded innocent on April 9 to a Class A felony charge of first-degree domestic assault accusing him of knowingly causing serious physical injury to a family or household member by branding her just below the right eye with a lit cigarette and two Class C felony charges of felonious restraint and first-degree child welfare endangerment accusing him of restraining a woman without her consent and exposing her to a substantial risk of serious physical injury and of grabbing a child less than 17 by her arms and throwing her to the ground. Judge Long scheduled the case for advice of counsel on April 21, ordered Johnson to personally appear and set his bond at $100,000 cash.
