Two injured by weekend wrecks
PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. (Feb. 2, 2009) — Two weekend single-vehicle crashes injured their drivers but nobody else, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Troopers reported that Shannon M. Tate, 20, of Dixon, was eastbound on Crown Road about four miles south of Dixon at 4:15 p.m. Friday when her 2005 Chevrolet Malibu slid off the left side of the roadway and struck an embankment. Tate, who had been wearing her seatbelt, suffered minor injuries and was transported by Dixon Ambulance District paramedics to General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital for treatment.

Her vehicle sustained only minor damage and was removed by Pro-Tow of Dixon.

A more serious wreck happened at 12:45 a.m. Sunday at mile marker 158 on eastbound Interstate 44 near the St. Robert and Waynesville city limits.

Troopers reported that John R. Caudle, 61, of Doolittle, was eastbound when he lost control of his 1993 Mazda Protégé, started skidding, ran off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.

Caudle, who had been wearing his seatbelt, suffered only minor injuries and was transported by Pulaski County Ambulance District paramedics to General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital for treatment.

His vehicle was totaled and removed by Jack’s Towing of Waynesville.
