Fourteen locals named to deans' lists at three different Missouri colleges

PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. (Jan. 9, 2012) — Three Missouri colleges have named 14 local residents to their respective deans’ lists for the fall 2011 semester.

Eight of these students are attending Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau: Kelli Foster of Devil’s Elbow; Karen Trout of Dixon; Aaron Kelly, Kaitlin Rapone and Lacey York of Waynesville; and Brittany Haynes, Courtney Jordan and Alyssa Longcor of St. Robert.

Haynes is majoring in criminal justice; the degree programs of the other students were not announced.

Five students are from Central Methodist University in Fayette: Damon Tyler Burrow, a pre-athletic training major from Dixon; Alicia M. Novak, a psychology major, Merikate Megan Novak, a sociology major, and Patrick Neal Posten, a pre-athletic training major, all from Richland; and Abigail L. Cage, a psychology major from Waynesville.

One student, Alyssa Powers of Dixon, is from Missouri Valley College in Marshall.

All Southeast Missouri State University and Central Methodist dean’s list students had at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and completed at least 12 degree credit hours during the fall semester. The requirements for the dean's list at Missouri Valley College are a 3.3 or higher grade point average; at least 12 graded hours for the semester; and no “D,” “F,” or “Incomplete” grades for the semester.
