Crocker teen rolls car, escapes with minor injuries

RICHLAND, Mo. (Jan. 3, 2009) — A late Saturday night crash totaled a Crocker teenager’s car but left him with only minor injuries.

State troopers reported that at 8:25 p.m., Shelden M. Fiedler, 16, was northbound on Highway 133 about a mile east of Richland in a 1996 Honda when he ran off the left side of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree, with his vehicle landing on its top.

Fiedler’s injuries weren’t immediately known, but he was eventually taken to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla. His vehicle was towed by Gene’s Towing of Crocker after multiple unsuccessful attempts were made to contact Larry’s Towing.
