April 2010 Richland election results
RICHLAND, Mo. (April 7, 2010) — Elections in both the city and school district of Richland span three counties and require tallying results from all three county clerks, but this year, the winning candidates garnered comparable support from all three jurisdictions on Tuesday.

Tom Murray and Kathleen Henson will be the new members of the Richland R-IV School Board, having received 180 and 138 votes, winning in each county over Eric Graves who received 84 votes. The school district includes substantial parts of Camden County, where Murray received 45 votes and Henson received 37, compared to 27 for Graves; a small portion of Laclede County is also included in the school district where Henson received two votes compared to one each for Graves and Murray.

The city had only one contested race, which was its third ward. The city’s new Ward III Alderman will be Jason Lobland, who received 34 votes compared to 19 for Paul F. Geddes, Jr., and 13 for Ronny Leonard. While the third ward extends into Laclede County, none of its voters showed up at the polls.

Ward I Alderman Leroy Stenson was unopposed and received 28 votes, 10 of which come from Camden County. Ward II Alderman Cory Rowden was also unopposed with 42 votes, all of them from Pulaski County.
