Missouri Department of Transportation personnel have issued several road work alerts for the Fort Leonard Wood area. As with all road construction projects, MoDOT officials urge drivers to exercise caution while passing through the work zones. Workers may be on or near the roadway. Signs will be posted and flagmen will be present in areas where traffic will be impacted. Pulaski County
Route 133:
MoDOT crews will be performing shoulder repair work, which involves removing ruts, low areas and high spots on the shoulders, on Route 133 from the intersection of Interstate 44 to the Richland city limits. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on or near the roadway. Work will begin on Monday, March 15, and run until March 18; weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Route 7:
MoDOT crews will be performing shoulder repair work, which involves removing ruts, low areas and high spots on the shoulders, on Route 7 from the intersection of Interstate 44 to the Gasconade River Bridge. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on or near the roadway. Work will begin on Monday, March 15, and run until March 18; weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Route HH:
MoDOT crews will be performing drainage work to keep the roadway dry and maintain stability and proper drainage of water from the travel lanes, on Route HH from the intersection of Route 17 to Buttercup Road. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on or near the roadway. Work will begin on Monday, March 15, and run until March 18; weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Route KK:
MoDOT crews will be performing erosion control and/or installing erosion control material near the roadway on Route KK from the intersection of Route U to the intersection of Boone Road. Work will begin on Monday, March 15, and run until March 18; weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Route MM:
MoDOT crews will be patching, which restores the rideability of the roadway surface, on Route MM from the intersection of Route 28 to the end of state maintenance. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on or near the roadway. Work will begin on Monday, March 15, and run until March 18; weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Route T:
MoDOT crews will be performing drainage work to keep the roadway dry and maintain stability and proper drainage of water from the travel lanes, on Route T from Interstate 44 to the intersection of Route 133. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on or near the roadway.
Route W:
MoDOT crews will perform edge rut repair work, which requires placing material at the edge of the roadway and is necessary to reduce shoulder drop off, from Interstate 44 to the end of state maintenance. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on or near the roadway. Work will begin on Monday, March 15, and run until March 18; weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Route Y:
MoDOT crews will perform edge rut repair work, which requires placing material at the edge of the roadway and is necessary to reduce shoulder drop off, from Interstate 44 to the end of state maintenance. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on or near the roadway. Work will begin on Monday, March 15, and run until March 18; weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Various Routes:
MoDOT crews will replace, install and or maintain roadway signs. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on or near the roadway.

Texas and Phelps counties
Route 133:
MoDOT crews will be performing bridge maintenance work on Route M on the bridge located over the West Piney Creek, which is done to improve the section where the road and bridge meet and prevent deterioration of the bridge deck or structure. Work will begin on Monday, March 15, and run until March 18; weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Mapping work zones near Pulaski County:
Missouri Department of Transportation personnel have added a new feature to their online traveler information map: not only can readers find current work zones, incidents, and closures due to flooding and winter road conditions, they can also get information on future work zones involving roadwork scheduled within the next seven days. Blue icons designate the future work zones scheduled to start in the next week. Red, yellow and orange icons will still be used to represent work zones with road closures and the level of traffic impact as work zones become active. The legend to the left allows users to customize their view by clicking the items they would like to view. Most Missouri work zones are weather dependant and may be rescheduled as needed.
