Laquey driver totals pickup in rollover
LAQUEY, Mo. (March 11, 2010) — Emergency personnel responded late Wednesday night to a report of a vehicle on its top at the “T” intersection of Highway P in Laquey and found that a pickup driver suffered only minor injuries despite totaling his vehicle.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, Ricky J. Casperon, 48, of Laquey, had been eastbound on Route P about 11 p.m. when he ran off the right side of the roadway in his 1993 Ford pickup, overcorrected, and ran across the roadway and off the left side. Casperon then traveled back across the roadway, ran off the right side and overturned.

Casperson, who had been wearing his seat belt, was transported to St. John’s Hospital in Lebanon by ambulance. His pickup was removed by Rothmund’s Towing of Waynesville.
