Pulaski County Commission
The Pulaski County Commission will meet from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18, in the county courthouse. Agenda items include opening bank bids at 9:30 a.m. for interest rates on a backhoe lease.

Pulaski County 911 Board
The Pulaski County 911 Board will meet at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18, in the 911 Communications Center. Agenda items include financial matters; comments from citizens including the Fort Leonard Wood fire chief; a report from the 911 director; discussion of old and new business; and a closed session for legal, real estate and contract matters.

Waynesville City Council
The Waynesville City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18, in city hall. Agenda items include citizen comments; reports from Park Board Chairman Roger Olney on the Feb. 11 meeting including appointment of Smith Cade and Brian Cyr to the park board, from Councilwoman Twyla Cordry on the Feb. 9 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, from Councilwoman Diana Stanford on the Feb. 4 Road and Grounds Committee meeting including an update on GW Lane relocation and a MoDOT cost-share grant, from Councilman Mike France on the Feb. 2 Utility Committee meeting including proposed ordinances establishing wastewater and natural gas rates; from Councilwoman Luge Hardman on the Jan. 21 meeting including resolutions reimbursing the city for wastewater treatment plant improvements, costs incurred in the development of a community improvement district, and amending the 2009-2010 fiscal year budget to purchase a generator system, from Councilman Ed Conley on the Feb. 4 Police and Emergency Services Committee meeting including ordinances defining the offense of assault and approving a joint animal shelter with St. Robert, from France on the February airport board meeting including appointment of Randy Pratt to the board, from Councilman Terry Mann on the Feb. 11 Communications Committee meeting, and from Hardman on the Feb. 2 Economic Development Committee meeting; other unspecified business; reports from the city administrator; comments by councilmen; and a closed session for real estate and legal issues.

Dixon R-I School Board
The Dixon R-I School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18, in the administration building. Agenda items include comments from representatives of the elementary positive behavioral support program; new and unfinished business of discussion and approval of the 2010-11 school calendar, changing the date of the March board meeting, application for summer school and amending the current 2009-2010 school year budget; a superintendent’s report on inclement weather make-up days, policy updates, a district report card and reports from principals; and a closed meeting for student and personnel matters.

Pulaski County Ambulance District
The Pulaski County Ambulance District Board meeting that had been scheduled for Monday, Feb. 15, will meet instead at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 22, in the Crocker ambulance base. Agenda items include the administrator’s report on operations and statistics; unspecified old business; new business of a local service which has agreed to perform ambulance maintenance on all vehicles; and a closed meeting for legal, real estate and personnel matters.

Laquey R-V School Board
The Laquey R-V School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 22, in the high school cafeteria. Agenda items include financial matters; citizen communications; unspecified old business; new business of revising the 2009-10 school calendar for make-up snow days, the proposed 2010-11 calendar, teacher handbooks, a summer school update, program reviews of curriculum instruction and differentiated instruction, and administrative reports; and a closed meeting for legal, personnel and student discipline matters.

Crocker R-II School Board
The Crocker R-II School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23, in the high school library. Agenda items include a superintendent report on the health and wellness report with a school health index, a gifted report, MAP testing schedule, summer school planning, TREND, facilities, professional development, school calendar, dress code, transportation, a report from the elementary and secondary principals, and financial matters; closed meeting for legal and personnel matters; new business of hiring the summer school director and issuing principal contracts, approving the health/wellness report and school health index, the gifted report, the professional development report, the TREND report, the 2009-10 school calender snow day revisions, the 2010-11 school calendar, use of signature stamps by board members, and budget amendments; and setting a March 23 date for the next board meeting.
