Dixon man wrecks pickup Tuesday
DIXON, Mo. (Dec. 23, 2009) — A Tuesday morning crash wrecked a Dixon man’s pickup, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Troopers reported that Timothy D. McKinnon, 36, had been eastbound approaching Dixon from the west on Highway C about 7 a.m. when he lost control of his 1987 Chevrolet pickup, ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

McKinnon, who had not been wearing his seat belt, suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Dixon Ambulance District personnel to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.

His vehicle was extensively damaged and removed by Davis Towing.

In an unrelated state patrol arrest:

• Troopers in Pulaski County arrested Adam W. Hance, 21, of Dixon, at 2:05 a.m. Wednesday on charges of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving. Hance was transported to the Pulaski County Jail where he was subsequently released.
