WASHINGTON, D.C. (Oct. 20, 2009) — Today, Congressman Ike Skelton (D-Mo.) joined 35 World War II veterans from Show-Me Honor Flight at the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.

“It was an honor to spend time with Missouri veterans at the World War II Memorial today. Our nation owes these brave men and women our most profound sense of gratitude for their sacrifices and selfless contributions to our country,” said Skelton.

Show-Me Honor Flight is a volunteer organization that arranges one-day trips for World War II veterans to Washington, D.C.
