Single-vehicle wreck south of post injures Plato woman, totals car
PALACE, Mo. (Nov. 3, 2009) — A single-vehicle wreck south of Fort Leonard Wood totaled a Plato woman’s vehicle Tuesday afternoon and sent her to the post hospital with minor injuries.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, Angela G. Kolb, 36, had been driving her 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer southbound on Highway AW about three miles south of the installation when she ran off the right side of the roadway at 4:48 p.m., stopping only after she struck an embankment and two trees.

Kolb, who had been wearing her seatbelt, was transported by Pulaski County Ambulance District personnel to General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital. Her vehicle was removed by Arrington Towing of Plato.
