According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, Donny L. Bailey, 53, of Richland, had been driving his 1996 Ford Ranger pickup truck southbound on Highway 17 about a mile north of Crocker when he slid off the right side of the roadway in the rain at 5:45 a.m. and struck a culvert.
