Crocker crash wrecks pickup Friday
CROCKER, Mo. (Oct. 9, 2009) — An early Friday morning crash on Highway 17 north of Crocker wrecked a pickup but caused only minor injuries to its driver, who refused medical treatment at the crash scene.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, Donny L. Bailey, 53, of Richland, had been driving his 1996 Ford Ranger pickup truck southbound on Highway 17 about a mile north of Crocker when he slid off the right side of the roadway in the rain at 5:45 a.m. and struck a culvert.

Bailey had been wearing his seatbelt, troopers reported. His pickup sustained moderate damage and was removed by Whittle Towing of Iberia.

Crocker firefighters and Pulaski County Ambulance District personnel also responded to the crash.
