Richland child seriously injured by rollover in Camden County on Friday
RICHLAND, Mo. (Sept. 4, 2009) — A rollover wreck northwest of Richland seriously injured a child Friday morning, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Troopers reported that Kaleb L. Jones, 3, was airlifted by helicopter to University Medical Center in Columbia after an initial transport by ground ambulance to Lake Regional Medical Center following a 7:20 a.m. crash on Highway A2, nine-tenths of a mile from Route A in Camden County, when a 1991 Pontiac driven by Airin M. Holloway, 26, of Richland, ran off the left side of the roadway. Holloway had been eastbound when she went off the roadway, overcorrected, swerved back onto the road, went off the left side of the road again, struck a tree and overturned, totaling the vehicle and causing minor injuries to Holloway as well as serious injuries to the child.

Jones had been in a child restraint and Holloway was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash, troopers reported. Holloway was also transported via ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach but her injuries did not require helicopter transport to the University Medical Center.

Holloway’s vehicle was towed by Bledsoe Conoco.
