St. Robert city police investigate a Wednesday wreck in front of the St. Robert McDonald’s restaurant.
SAINT ROBERT, Mo. (Aug. 26, 2009) — Three separate crashes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in and near St. Robert injured three people, according to St. Robert police and Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Officer Dan Wogan of the St. Robert Police Department reported that a motorcycle crash injured a German man while causing moderate damage to his motorcycle and the vehicle that struck him.

Wogan reported that Claretta T. Crawford, 49, of Dixon, had been eastbound in a 2009 Nissan at 1:35 p.m. Monday on Old Route 66 near Peggy Drive when she failed to see an oncoming 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle ridden by Edgar K. Schild, 45, of the German city of Modeglaugach.

Schild was thrown from the motorcycle and transported to St. John’s Hospital in Lebanon with undetermined injuries. His motorcycle was removed by Jack’s Towing; Crawford’s vehicle was still drivable and left under its own power.

A Tuesday morning one-vehicle wreck on a Highway Z bridge two miles east of Exit 163 extensively damaged a car belonging to a Devil’s Elbow man but caused him only minor injuries, according to state patrol reports. Charles M. Lengele, 20, had been westbound in a 2003 Ford Focus at 8:10 a.m. when he ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, returned to the roadway, and collided with the bridge.

Lengele, who had been wearing his seat belt, was transported by Pulaski County Ambulance District paramedics to General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital. His vehicle was removed by Jack’s Towing.

Two vehicles were extensively damaged in a noontime Wednesday crash on Highway Z inside the St. Robert city limits. According to city police reports, Eric McGillivey, 22, of Fort Leonard Wood, was exiting the McDonald’s parking lot at 12:25 p.m. in a 2006 Ford F-150 pickup when he failed to see an approaching 2007 Ford Mustang driven by Ellen Greer, 53, of St. James, entered the roadway, and his pickup was struck by Greer’s car.

McGillivey was not hurt but Greer was transported to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla with undetermined injuries. Both vehicles were removed by Jack’s Towing.
