Wreck totals Lynchburg teen’s Taurus |

BUCKHORN, Mo. (Aug. 25, 2009) — A Tuesday evening rollover wreck on Highway 17 a half-mile south of the Waynesville city limits at Exit 153 totaled a 1998 Ford Taurus and moderately injured its driver.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, Benjamin J. Turvin, 18, of Lynchburg, was southbound at 6 p.m. when he ran off the right side of the road, returned to the road, overcorrected, began skidding and sliding, went off the right side of the roadway, and overturned.
Turvin, who had been wearing his seat belt, was transported by Pulaski County Ambulance District personnel to St. John’s Hospital in Lebanon for medical treatment. His car was removed by Jack’s Towing.
