Tuesday ATV crash hurts Crocker man
CROCKER, Mo. (July 16, 2009) — A late-night Tuesday ATV crash near Swedeborg sent a Crocker man to an area hospital with minor injuries.

State troopers reported that James D. Lathrop, 33, had been eastbound on Highway KK about six miles west of Crocker when he lost control of his 1999 Husqvarna WR250 at 11:54 p.m., overturned, and ran off the left side of the roadway.

Lathrop, who was not using a safety device, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered minor injuries; he was transported by Pulaski County Ambulance District personnel to Lake Regional Medical Center in Osage Beach.

His ATV was not damaged and was driven from the scene.

Troopers reported that Lathrop had no insurance.
