Pulaski County Commission
The Pulaski County Commission will meet from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday, June 29, in the county courthouse. No items were on the agenda as of Friday morning.
Swedeborg R-III School Board
The Swedeborg R-III School Board will meet in special session at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 29, in the library building. Agenda items include old business of a summer school report, new business of a MOHELA presentation; other items previously discussed with administrators; and a closed session for legal, personnel and student discipline matters.
Dixon R-I School Board
The Dixon R-I School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, in the school administration building. Agenda items include comments by Tony Brandt on the athletic handbook and by the MSBA representative; new and unfinished business of bids for propane, gym floors, middle school security system, and installation of air units, permission to zero out the 2008-09 balances, authorizing fund transfers, amending the 2008-09 budget, adopting the proposed 2009-10 budget, amending the 2008-09 professional development committee budget, and adopting the proposed 2009-10 PDC plan and budget; a superintendent’s report with a superintendent evaluation, football, principal reports and handbooks, bus inspections and approval of the Section 125 plan; and a closed session for student, personnel and legal issues.
St. Robert Planning and Zoning Commission
The St. Robert Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, in city hall. Agenda items an open public hearing to consider a request by Farris Brothers Investment Company to rezone certain real estate located adjacent to Vickie Lynn Lane in the Hidden Valley Estates Subdivision from residential medium-density (R-1M) to residential high-density (R-1H). Pulaski County Tourism Bureau
The Pulaski County Tourism Board which had been scheduled to meet on Thursday, June 25 has been rescheduled for 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, in the Visitors’ Center. Agenda items include a treasurer’s report on trial budgets noting the April budget versus actual expenses; a report by Executive Director Beth Wiles with marketing updates, meetings attended, comments about the Pulaski County Growth Alliance by Rick Morris, and Visitors’ Center statistics; a motel tax report; old business of a community leadership float; new business of a Visitors’ Center sign; and a closed session for unspecified matters.
Pulaski County 911 Board
The Pulaski County 911 Board will meet at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, in the Pulaski County Communications Center. Agenda items include financial matters, citizen comments, a report by 911 Director Michelle Graves, discussion of unspecified old and current business, and a closed session for unspecified matters.
