Missouri Department of Transportation personnel have added a new feature to their online traveler information map: not only can readers find current work zones, incidents, and closures due to flooding and winter road conditions, they can also get information on future work zones involving roadwork scheduled within the next seven days. Blue icons designate the future work zones scheduled to start in the next week. Red, yellow and orange icons will still be used to represent work zones with road closures and the level of traffic impact as work zones become active. The legend to the left allows users to customize their view by clicking the items they would like to view. Most Missouri work zones are weather dependant and may be rescheduled as needed.
