Motorcyclist dies following Dixon crash
DIXON, Mo. (Nov. 17, 2009) — State troopers have reported that a motorcyclist who crashed earlier this month has died of injuries suffered in the wreck.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, Jason S. Teo, 27, of Waynesville, had been southbound on Highway 28 about four miles south of Dixon at a high rate of speed at 5:56 p.m. on Nov. 7 when he was unable to negotiate a curve and ran off the roadway. His 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle overturned several times and he was ejected from the motorcycle, suffering what were initially described as serious injuries that led to him being airlifted to University Medical Center in Columbia via helicopter. Teo was pronounced dead at 1:18 a.m. on Nov. 15 at the hospital.

Teo had been wearing his helmet at the time of the crash. His motorcycle was totaled and removed by Jack’s Towing.
