DIXON, Mo. (Feb. 24, 2009) — A Dixon man and his passenger suffered serious injuries Monday night in an Audrain County crash, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Troopers reported that Tommy G. Rose, 39, was westbound driving a 2000 GMC Sierra at 8 p.m. on Route C at County Road 108 when he ran off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned. That’s west of the city of Mexico and about an hour northeast of Jefferson City.

Rose had no proof of insurance and troopers said they’re not sure if he was wearing his seat belt. His passenger, Summer L. Hoffarth, 33, of Columbia, had not been wearing her seat belt. Both were transported to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.

Rose’s vehicle was removed by Ron’s Collision Repair of Mexico, Mo.
