Crocker teen hurt in Highway 7 wreck south of Richland on Monday
RICHLAND, Mo. (March 24, 2009) — Tri-County firefighters were more than busy enough Monday putting out fires all over northwestern Pulaski County and adjacent areas before they received a call to a crash on Highway 7 near the curves between Interstate 44 and the Richland city limits.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, Dillon R. Williams, 21, of Fort Carson, Colo., had been southbound at 4:40 p.m. in a 1995 Saturn about five miles south of Richland when he ran off the right side of the road and struck a dirt embankment. Williams wasn’t hurt but his passenger, Michaela E. Tiensvold, 18, of Crocker, suffered minor injuries and was transported by Pulaski County Ambulance District paramedics to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Both had been wearing their seat belts, troopers reported.

The Saturn sustained extensive damage and was removed by Larry’s Towing of Richland.
