Pulaski County Circuit Court Report 12/30/2010

Officials with the Pulaski County Circuit Court have reported the following actions in recent cases:

Damon Tipton, 31, of Fort Leonard Wood, was arraigned on Dec. 30 before Associate Circuit Judge Colin Long on two Oct. 26 Class C felony charges of passing bad checks accusing him of passing a $83.81 check on July 19 and a July 20 check on July 20, both drawn on a non-existent account with US Bank and payable to Cenex gas station, knowing the check would not be paid. Judge Long scheduled a Jan. 4 advice-of-counsel hearing, ordered him to personally appear, and set his bond at $1,000.

Luke White, 45, of Waynesville, was arraigned on Dec. 30 before Associate Circuit Judge Colin Long on a Dec. 29 Class C felony charge of first-degree tampering accusing him of acting in concert with another person to possess a gray Nissan on Dec. 28 registered to a Tennessee owner without the owner’s consent. Judge Long scheduled a Jan. 4 advice-of-counsel hearing, ordered him to personally appear, and set his bond at $30,000.

Thien D. Tran, 26, of Garden Grove, Calif., was arraigned on Dec. 30 before Associate Circuit Judge Colin Long on a Dec. 25 Class B felony charge of possession of a controlled substance accusing him of possessing 1,959 Ecstasy tablets on Dec. 24 with intent to distribute. Judge Long scheduled a Jan. 4 advice-of-counsel hearing, ordered him to personally appear, and set his bond at $50,000 cash-only.
