Pulaski County Commission

The Pulaski County Commission will not meet at its usual 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, due to the need for County Clerk Brent Bassett to prepare for Tuesday's primary election. 

St. Robert City Council

The St. Robert City Council will meet at 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, in city hall. Agenda items include visitor comments from Waynesville R-VI School Superintendent Brian Henry, Devin Schei with the Wounded Warrior Project, a proclamation declaring Aug. 7 to be Purple Heart Day in the city, Joe Driskill of Sustainable Ozarks Partnership, Eagle Scout Matthew Meyer, and "recognition of superlative performance" by city employee Dan Boevingloh; old and new business of rezoning land at the corner of Missouri Avenue and North Outer Road from A1 agricultural to C2 commercial, vacating an easement in Zeigenbein Estates, approving a Bassett Insurance bid for $230,358, approving an amendment to the Airport fuel storage facility contract, and approving members of the Board of Adjustment; consideration of proposed ordinances approving an agreement with the Veterans Administration office and appointment members to the Liberty Commons CID, redevelopment cost reimbursement and a request for an easement; comments by aldermen and city staff, and a closed session for legal, real estate and personnel matters. 

Pulaski County Ambulance Board

The The Pulaski County Ambulance District Board will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, in the Waynesville Ambulance Base. Agenda items include swearing in of a new board member to fill the Crocker subdistrict vacancy caused by the resignation of Joshua Hall and a closed session for unspecified matters.

Dixon City Council

The Dixon City Council will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, in the Mid America Bank community room. Agenda items include public comments, unspecified old business, new business of discussion of budget meeting times and dates, reports from the police department, city maintenance director and city engineer, and a closed session for personnel matters.

Primary Election Day

The primary election will be from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5. Polling places are the Pulaski County Courthouse Annex, commonly known as the old Waynesville Middle School; St. Robert Community Center; Sunset Village for the Hooker Precinct which includes Devil's Elbow; the Laquey School; Richland City Hall; Swedeborg School; the Pulaski County Health Center office in Crocker; the Dixon Senior Center; and the Palace Church for the Big Piney precinct.
