Pulaski County Republican Women's Club

The Pulaski County Republican Women's Club will meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, in PriceCutter's Restaurant. Agenda items include a candidate forum for Dean Matthews and Mike Headrick, Republican candidates in the August primary seeking the seat now held by Associate Circuit Judge Ronda Cortesini of the Probate Divison. 

Pulaski County Commission

The Pulaski County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 23, in the county courthouse. No items were on the agenda as of Friday morning. 

Richland Chamber of Commerce

The Richland Chamber of Commerce will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday, June 23, in the MOCA building.

Pulaski County Health Board

The Pulaski County Health Board will meet at 4 p.m. on Monday, June 23, in the Pulaski County Health Center in Crocker. Agenda items include financial matters; a general administrator report by Health Director Donna Brashear; a standard public health report by Patty McClendon; a standard WIC report by Brenda Warner; a standard home health report by Elaine Clark; a standard environmental public health report by Karen Wall; old business of a Section 218 agreement; unspecified new busienss; and a closed session for unspecified matters.

Dixon City Council

The Dixon City Council will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 23, in the Mid-America Bank Community Room. Agenda items include a public question and answer session; old business of an ATV ordinance and an update by Councilman Travis Rollins on bids for the 2013 audit; new business of discussion of the cost of permits before and after inspection of manufactured home structures; reports from the police chief, city maintenance director and city engineer; and a closed session for personnel matters.

Crocker R-II School Board

The Crocker R-II School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, in the district administration building. Agenda items include awards and recognition; public comments; financial matters including the 2014-15 proposed budget; discussion items of the architect’s construction report, technology report, nonresident tuition, maintenance schedule, bidding procedures, safety issues, and an indoor batting cage; administration reports from the elementary principal, summer school director, secondary principal and superintendent; action items of approving amending the 2013-14 budget line by line, fund by fund to agree with the 2013-14 ASBR, approving certificate of deposit transfer. the 2014-15 budget, the SRO (school resource officer) salary. USDA resolution community facility grant, safety film installation, indoor batting cage, and safety issues in the Crocker High School Office; a closed session for legal and personnel issues; action items of accepting a resignation and hiring probationary teachers; and setting the next regular meeting for July 22.

Dixon R-I School Board

The Dixon R-I School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, in the Dixon High School library. Agenda items include comments to the board from visitor Trish McCray on a grant request; approval of minutes and financial reports; new and unfinished business of permission to zero out the 2013-14 balances, authorize the transfer of funds, amending the 2013-14 budget, adopting the proposed 2014-15 budget, approving the 2014-15 certified and classified salary schedules, approving the 2014-15 salaries for administrators, amending the 2013-14 PDC budget, adopting the 2014-15 PDC plan and budget, amending board regulation 2310 and 2014-15 propane bids; superintendent reports and notes on the 2014 annual school bus inspection program, committee updates on technology, building and grounds, transportation and salary, comments on facility usage from Doug Roam, and principal reports; and a closed session for student, personnel and legal issues.

Congresswoman Hartzler Listening Post

Cole Karr, a district staff representative for Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler, will meet constituents for a listening post from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 1, in the Richland Public Library.

Pulaski County 911 Board

The Pulaski County 911 Board will meet at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Juiy 11, in the Pulaski County Communications Center. Agenda items include financial matters; visitor comments; a report from the director; unspecified old and current business; and a closed session for unspecified matters.
